One-stop shopping is a growing trend in the promo industry. alphabroder responded to demands for consolidated spend when it acquired hard good supplier Prime Line in 2017. The acquisition created a space for distributors to purchase apparel and hard goods at the same time.
“Our customers have told us they want choice and convenience,” alphabroder President Dan Pantano told the Advertising Specialty Institute. “Having a full line of hard goods and apparel creates a true one-stop-shop solution that drives efficiency and value for our customers.”
The Prime Line acquisition allowed alphabroder to expand its decorating capabilities as well.
“We’re pacing ourselves along with the needs and the requests that we’re getting from or customers,” said alphabroder’s Vice President, General Manager of Decoration Laura Turner. “When taking advantage of our deco service, customers need only submit one PO and they don’t have to worry about damages.”
alphabroder has offered embroidery and heat seal on private brand and retail brand product since the Ash City acquisition over five years ago. The acquisition of Prime Line also gave alphabroder the resources to fulfill screen printing orders.
“Through Prime Line, we provided a single invoice solution for those customers looking for it,” explained Turner. Above all, however, alphabroder is a supplier, and it remains true to that role.
